We are the part of Visionair that turns experience into tools
Cognos did not start as an idea about artificial intelligence looking for an industry. It started the other way round: fifteen years of classrooms, audits and regulatory consultancy looking for a way to reach further.

Where we come from
Visionair Technics has spent more than fifteen years in aviation training, with a particular presence in Spain and Spanish-speaking countries. It designs and implements training plans for organisations, builds bespoke content, and trains aviation personnel: pilots, mechanics, engineers and cabin crew.
Its catalogue covers much of the European regulatory framework — Part-21, Part-145, Part-26, Part-IS, continuing airworthiness, airworthiness review, reliability, quality and safety, accident investigation, simulators — and it tracks the regulation in force, not the one from three years ago.
Cognos is the arm that takes all that material and turns it into tools that work at any hour and in any time zone.

Why a separate brand
Because they are two different crafts. Visionair Technics trains: classrooms, instructors, plans, students. Cognos builds product: software that has to be maintained, versioned and audited.
Keeping them apart lets us be honest in both directions. Cognos does not wear medals that belong to the parent company, and the parent company is not tied to a software roadmap. What they do share is the part that matters: the knowledge and the judgement.

More than fifteen years
Aviation training across Europe and Latin America, with its own catalogue and content developed in house.
Accredited partner of Global Trust Association
GTA is an independent certifier holding ISO 9001, ISO 27001 and ISO 20000-1, whose certification exams align with ISO/IEC 17024. Through that accreditation, students can obtain certifications issued by an independent third party rather than only by their training provider.
Collaboration with Escuela Aeronáutica de Colombia
A joint maintenance training centre project in Colombia, with reference sites in Bogotá and Alicante.
Artificial intelligence applied, not announced
The group already delivers training on risk-based aviation auditing using AI. Combining regulation with artificial intelligence is not new here.
Demonstrable regulatory currency
Regulation (EU) 2026/100, applicable since 7 August 2026, is already reflected in the group’s materials. Regulation is tracked as it is published.
Part-147 approval at issuing stage
Visionair Technics has passed the audits in its approval process as a Part-147 maintenance training organisation, which is at the closing and issuing stage with the competent authority.

This industry does not have an information problem. It has an access problem.
The regulation is published. The manuals exist. So do the experts who know how to read them. What is missing is having all of that available at the moment it is needed and in the place it is needed: at eleven at night, in a hangar in Bogotá, three weeks before an audit.
That gap between the knowledge that exists and the knowledge you can actually reach costs money, time and, sometimes, findings. Closing it is precisely why we are here.

Distance stopped being an excuse
A technician in Bogotá, a quality manager in Alicante and an instructor in Casablanca should all reach the same standard of rigour. Technology already allows the classroom to stop being a building, and we believe EASA-grade training and compliance should not depend on anyone’s postcode.
