Cognos Competency
From regulation to competence. Cognos Competency analyses the training and competence requirements that apply to an aviation organisation, taking into account its profile, its approvals, roles and aircraft.
It turns complex regulatory requirements into concrete training needs, with their recurrence and with direct access to the Visionair training that covers them.

Designed from the outset for responsible AI
Our development process takes as its reference the principles and good practices of ISO/IEC 42001, the international standard for artificial intelligence management systems. That lets us build AI governance in from the earliest phases of a project rather than bolting it on afterwards.

We assess the risks associated with using AI: accuracy, safety, privacy, bias, transparency and misuse.

Ready for the European artificial intelligence framework
Responsible AI development also means accounting for the applicable regulatory framework. Cognos builds in, from the design stage, a perspective oriented towards compliance with the European Artificial Intelligence Regulation (AI Act) and the evolution of its requirements.
We assess the purpose and context of each application to determine which obligations and controls may apply, incorporating risk management, documentation, transparency, human oversight and system control measures where appropriate.
Regulation is not an add-on at the end of development: it is part of designing and building the thing.
